    Software Engineering

    “I learned systems before I learned users.”

    • Quadrant Middle EastBuilt Egypt’s first price-comparison platform — my first taste of a product where the data model was the value proposition.
    • BokDocBackend architecture and APIs behind Angular, Swift and Kotlin clients. Three consumers, one contract — an early lesson in designing for the people downstream.

    Technical Leadership

    “Being responsible for outcomes changed what I paid attention to.”

    • ETKLM · FounderFounded an EdTech product and took it to the final funding round at EdVentures. Owning strategy and go-to-market taught me more about product than any framework.
    • Kite.AgencyTechnical team lead — planning, delivery and risk across five major projects, plus a developer internship programme.
    • BOTTER.aiLed delivery from discovery to on-premise rollout on a conversational-AI platform. Ready-made integrations cut build cost and lifted delivery efficiency ~85%.

    Product

    “Enterprise delivery taught me that clarity is a deliverable.”

    • Vaimo · Al Rajhi BankRan the marketplace programme and Urpay wallet integration on one of Saudi Arabia’s largest Magento platforms — 7 custom modules, ~20% efficiency gain, 15% fewer defects.
    • The handoverBecame the main client contact when the onsite manager left, holding scope, escalations and SLAs steady through the transition. Nobody noticed the change — which was the goal.
  4. 042024 — now

    AI-native Product Building

    “Now I build the thing while I’m still deciding what it should be.”

    • AYENLead product across six products — ByyN, SOPRA, Qrarat, Hakoom, Report Engine, Service Hub — and grew the team to six across product, design and QA.
    • QraratDefined an AI layer for quality scoring and decision support, and took AI report generation from concept to working prototype myself.
